BirthFlow Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
BirthFlow: Contraction Timer is provided by ashwinbhajan. This policy explains how the app handles information on your device.
Local-only information
BirthFlow stores the timing records, notes, provider and hospital details, contacts, checklist items, document references, reminders, and preferences that you choose to enter on your device. BirthFlow does not require an account.
No tracking or analytics
BirthFlow does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking, crash-reporting services, cloud sync, or a backend that receives your BirthFlow information. We do not sell, share, or transmit your BirthFlow information to us or to third parties.
Notifications
Checklist and personal reminders are optional. If you choose to enable notifications, reminder scheduling and notification content remain on your device and are controlled by your device settings.
Sharing and external links
BirthFlow creates reports locally. A report is shared only when you choose a destination in your device's share sheet. Calls, maps, websites, and other external links open only after your action; their handling is governed by the destination service's policies.
Retention and deletion
Your BirthFlow information remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. The in-app Delete all local data action removes the app's local records, preferences, and scheduled reminders when no contraction is actively being timed.
Security
BirthFlow uses your device's local storage and platform facilities. We do not claim that BirthFlow data is encrypted at rest. Keep your device protected with the security controls available to you.
Children and medical information
BirthFlow records timing information only. It does not diagnose, assess wellbeing, or replace guidance from a maternity care team.
